Fat Binder contains Absorbitol, the advanced form Chitosan. Absorbitol is an all natural fibre extract from shellfish shells, that binds to dietary fat, educing fat absorbtion. Fat Binder can be used as part of a weight management programme. Fat Binder is all natural and contains no caffeine or synthetic ephedrine. Do not use if pregnant or lactating. Persons with known shellfish allergies should consult a doctor before using this product. ____________________________________________ Directions: take two to four capsules with 230ml of water, 3 times daily up to 30 minutes before a meal, according to the fat content of the meal eaten. Note: as Fat Binder can affect the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, it is recommended that a multivitamin supplement is taken early in the morning or late in the day, well before or after using fat binder. The Quest "Divided Dose" Multivitamin product may be useful for this purpose. Note: The distributor in the UK has had a number of questions about whether this product can affect other medications, including the oral contraceptive.
